BETAMATE1620 is a one-component, high-performance, heat-curable, high-strength epoxy toughened structural adhesive that can bond oily galvanized steel and is durable. BETAMATE 1620 has improved moisture resistance and can be applied at room temperature. In addition, according to the ISO11343 standard, BETAMATE 1620 has excellent impact peel strength. BETAMATE structural adhesive, as a new type of body connection technology, can partially reduce welding joints and body reinforcement parts, making the vehicle stronger, safer, lighter and more durable. According to test results, the Dow BETAMATE 1620 enables the body to withstand three times the normal fatigue load cycle.
